Designed for experienced rock climber’s who have attended the rock courses or have equivalent experience.  Must have, or rent, boots and crampons but can share ice tools. Cost share lodging.  Register with Leader: Brian Phillips. Co-Leader: TBD.  See general trip information.

Jan 3- Feb 28 Winter 2010 Top Rope Ice Climbing Series

Jun 5-6  Rock Climbing Shawangunks, New Paltz, NY - Climbers comfortable on 5.4 routes or better.  Climbers whom have attended the climbing classes are given preference, lodging is up to you, dinner at an après climb restaurant. Leader: Brian Phillips, Co-Leader:Jeannine Peterson.  Contact the leader to register and get specific trip information.  See general trip information.  

Jun 27 Family Climbing Event Lincoln Woods. - Picnic area TBA with good parking and access to several climbing and bouldering areas, plus the fishing spot. Start at 10:00am. Everyone is welcome, including non AMCers. Spend the day or stop by for a little while. Bring a picnic lunch, and chairs. If you'd like to paddle, EMS rents kayaks and canoes at the park (you'd need to arrange that ahead of time). Hike, walk, paddle, climb swim, run, fish. Aug 29 Family Day at Lincoln Woods - Climb, hike, picnic. Meet at 10 am (site TBD. Top-ropes will be set up on some easy kid-friendly climbs. Open to everyone in the AMC and families of climbers and hikers who may be interested in joining us for the day. Bring a picnic lunch and chairs.
